Despite the frequently-voiced need for moving ahead with hydropower development in Nepal, attention is only infrequently paid to how such development affects indigenous or Janajati groups. Indigenous groups often depend on the multi-dimensional relationships between rivers, land and other natural resources. Therefore, this publication provides the information regarding the right of indigenous and Janajati group on hydropower related areas.
