Prof. Dr. Bipin Adhikari

Prof. Dr. Bipin Adhikari leads Niti Foundation’s work on constitutionalism, including the Constitutional Workshop. A renowned constitutional expert, senior advocate, and policy analyst, he is also a Professor of Law at Kathmandu University, where he was the Founding Dean. Dr. Adhikari has authored several significant publications such as Salient Features of the Constitution of Nepal, 2015 and Nepal’s Constitutional Bodies: Their Roles and Practices. He is currently working on A Commentary on the 2015 Constitution of Nepal. His career includes assignments with various national and international agencies, including the United Nations, serving in Nepal, Cambodia, Liberia, and Timor-Leste. He earned his Ph.D. in Constitutional Law from the University of Delhi and was designated a senior advocate by the Supreme Court of Nepal in 2017.
