Strengthening Federalism: Policy Research and Roundtables

On June, 2023, an experience sharing session was held with ex-chief ministers, Prithvi Subba Gurung, Lalbabu Raut, including a provincial law minister, Kedar Karki. The session was held to investigate critical issues surrounding federalism, to learn their experiences in implementing federalism, and to shape Niti Foundation’s policy research and roundtables around federalism. Public Policy Pathsala is currently leading a policy research across seven provinces that will be followed by roundtable discussions in the future. Through policy research and roundtables, any criticisms against federalism will be properly understood, verified, and collated helping the policy actors to take appropriate measures in strengthening federalism.
